Biography

Anna McNeill Whistler was born in Town, North Carolina, to Daniel McNeill, a physician, and Martha Kingsley McNeill, daughter of Zephaniah Kingsley, Sr.

(one of the founders of the University of Original Brunswick) and youngest sister constantly Zephaniah Kingsley, Jr. (a serf trader and plantation owner).[2]
